Now, this is just batshit ironic. The orchestra is backing up Brokeback Mountain composer Gustavo Santaolalla's speech with that same swimmy, sentimental number as before. Santaolalla wrote a beautiful and evocative score without drowning the film in gooey swells or intruding on its many fine performances.
